Each week, the FamilyConnect take-home page gives parents an easy discussion starter that helps families grow together in faith throughout the week.
SCC Youth Camp
SCC Youth Camp is a rich part of our programming for Children and Youth in grades Kindergarten thru Seniors in High School. Our young people spend 3-5 days in the nature that God created learning faith lessons taught by members of our congregation, participating in various “camp” activities, making crafts, enjoying skits and songs around the campfire, and being in fellowship with one another.
Registration for 2017 Camp has closed.
Bridge to Experience
Bridge to Experience (B2E) is a biennial program for Chi Rho and CYF youth. This program seeks to build connections between our young people and members of the congregation. Youth are assigned family groups consisting of various youth and adults at SCC. Groups meet monthly participating in low cost activities (sharing meals, attending free events, etc.). Training sessions in the areas of faith formation, service, leadership, and diversity as well as build sessions are scheduled on a rotating basis from year to year in order to forge unique conversations and bonding among family group members.
